Libraries, archives and museums all live with the constant threat of pest invasion. Traditional pest control solutions are heavily dependent on toxic chemicals that are harmful to people and materials, as well as pests. This session will introduce basic concepts of Integrated Pest Management-- pest control strategies that rely heavily on good housekeeping practices to discourage pest invasion.
